First prize winner of Placido Domingo OPERALIA Competition (2012), Amartuvshin received the 2nd prize and two special prizes at the International Singing Contest Francisco Vinas in Barcelona (2013), the 2nd prize and the Public prize at XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition (2011).

Amartuvshin is the Principal Soloist of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Mongolia. He became the Honored Artist of Mongolia at the age of 24.
