Stanislav Soloviev was born in Leningrad (St.-Petersburg) in 1979.
In 2003 he graduated from St-Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Prof. Alexander Sandler)
1994 – National Competition of Chamber music. Moscow – I prize
1995 – International Competition of Piano Duo, Saint-Petersburg – I prize
1996 – International Competition “Concertino-Praha”. Prague – III prize
2002 – 4th International Jazeps Vitols Piano Competition. Riga – I prize
2005 – 3d International Franz Liszt Piano Competition. Wroclaw – I prize
2011 – XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition. Saint-Petersburg – Best Accompanist
In April 2001 Stanislav gave a debut solo recital in the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) followed by recitals in Latvia, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Serbia, France, Poland, Greece, and South Korea. Stanislav played with: Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Saint-Petersburg Capella Sympony Orchestra, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Saint-Petersburg University Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
Apart from his concert activities Stanislav works as a Chamber Music Professor at St.-Petersburg State Conservatory. Since 2003 he also has a position of guest-concertmaster to the Summer Musical Academy (Marktoberdorf, Germany).
